DU8SHOW pres. Diplomacy Vol. 8! - Club Essentials in tha Haus!

Hey everyone, hope you guys are having a great weekend. I have a special set of mixes today that you'll definitely want for keeps in your collection. The Diplomacy Sets were basically a collection of CD sets which I made for my friends who worked in retail. They loved the sets because they were clubby enough to thump on their system but wasn't all that hardcore. Volume 8 came with 3 CDs - Original Set, The Clandestine Mix, and The Definitive Mix and was the last of the CD sets before I exclusively went to MP3 for the blogs. It still has it's applications for some retail stores but listening over it I realized that it's great for a long ride home from work (stuck in traffic) and it's definitely great for those with MP3 players who want something for the subway ride home.

I personally used these mixes for when I was out because they just had a great set of funky and latin house tracks which were usually the pick of the crop as far as my mixes went. Most of the tracks are pretty much commercial and I'm sure you'll love them. I have a few more mixes that I'm going to post later on today so stay tuned for that. Enjoy!

Electro week winding down with Sets from the Archive!

To conclude the week of Electro, I’m going to be posting up some of the best electro mixes I’ve made from the archive, to say the least, it’s going to be a wild ride. Tech, Minimal, and more Progressive sounding tracks mixed with house from these mixes will give you a good idea of how electro gained notoriety over the years to dominate the dancefloors of clubs today. Well it's Tuesday just back from long weekend and this week is going to be great for the techheads out there as I'm going to be featuring Electro ALL WEEK LONG! diplomatico Limited Edition: The Prada Mix (Black Edition)

I only do four of these a year and it’s time for the next entry into one of my favorite set of mixes. The Prada Mix is great played very loud, either in a club or a yacht – whatever works for you. Yeah, the name’s ridiculous but guess what? People end up loving it in secret and tend to weep when they lose the CD’s in their car. I get the emails about it all the time. These CDs are more than just great house tracks. It’s the mix that you wind up listening to and thinking about past lovers and stuff. It’s a good deal of why house music is so different and the way we all love it is pretty much the same. It makes you feel everything while on anything. The tracklist is all laid out and it’s consistently funky and brings in the nicely flowing melodies. I’ve included vocals with some tracks but I’m also doing service to those who want to dance. Keep this mix tucked away safely in your collection and if you put it on CD, make sure NO ONE takes it from you – yes, it’s that serious. Enjoy!

DU8SHOW Episode 28 (Main Set) with the Madonna Megamix!

It's going to be a great week for those just joining us as I'm releasing Episode 28 of the DU8SHOW with a treat; the wildly popular Madonna Megamix (House Version). I spun everything with a little latin flavour and smooth soulful vocals towards the end which I know will have you dancing in sheer delight. It's a very nice set representative of the club sets that I usually play but textbook for the show as most of the regulars already know. The Madonna Megamix was a gem in itself featuring the house remixes of a bunch of great Madonna songs which might possibly be a fan's keeper for their music collection.
