Hey Everyone, going into this weekend the DU8SHOW Podcast drops some essential house goodness. Episode 9's DU8SHOW is called the Cassette Edition because the original version was made for a physical cassette which was a limited promo. I might make more if there are enough requests because they're an amazing bit of nostalgia to fuse with the new house sounds.

Moving right along - we have a sweet melding of electro tracks with some familiar throwbacks to classic house remixes like a PHAT Daft Punk's One More Time a la House Moguls, Black Legend's You See The Trouble With Me' on a rare ATFC re-lick and of course, nothing says classic with a little shaker that we know as 'Women Beat Their Men' mastered by legend Cevin Fisher.

Of course, we have some tried and tested club electro tracks from Peter Gelderblom, The Miami Project reviving 'Another One Bites the Dust', a massive Gregor Salto Ibiza anthem 'Erasmus', a couple of Deadmau5 hits, and a cool mash of a rare tune called Can't Let You Go, a Fio track remixed masterfully.

First Mixes of 2011 - DU8SHOW Podcasts Episode 7 and 8: Essential Sets!

House lovers, welcome back!  It's been a long time coming and for the start of 2011 the DU8SHOW is bring in the famous diplomatico Essential Sets with just about everything to get you started with the podcasts.  We're pleased to bring you the DU8SHOW Episodes 7 and 8 today featuring some of the best artists and remixers around.  For those who have been keeping up with the show over the years, you already know what these are all about.





For episode 7, I've brought some great tracks including Kathy Brown's Dare Me, Milk and Sugar's Jezabel and even brought back a big Inner City favorite, Good Life (a la Mark Knight remix).  Remixers such as Seamus and Haji, Mark Knight and Martinj ten Velden, Gregor Salto, Belocca and Soneec and even Ashley Beedle bring the smooth grooves into play for this.  A definite crowd pleasure.

Happy Friday, party people! I am pleased to announce that the first official Episode of the DU8SHOW is here and now. This is our first podcast mixed by diplomatico bringing the best in house music through his marquee sets. We're bringing old and new, mixing genres and we'll be changing it up to bring strictly the best house music podcast in the world today.

For those of you just joining us, the DU8SHOW blog is in many ways a serious project that we've been working on for the past couple of years and we're pleased to go full force on the show and we hope to increase our syndication as we start getting the attention of house lovers all over the world. We will bring new episodes on a continual basis and we'll also be featuring some special edition mixes in between.

For episode one, we bring some club essentials featuring a wide variety of artists such as Madonna, Bob Sinclair, Mylo, Jamie Lewis, Eric Prydz, Hoxton Whores and Coldplay. Hey party people! In time for the weekend I'm bringing a nice funky house mix today with a great mix of the essentials that are sure to keep you dancing in the best way possible. The DU8SHOW Podcast B is a Funky House compilation that is great for a relaxing drive home or to get yourself in a partying mood for the early evening. Let's get started:

I've started it out with one of my favorite house-mixed artists, Jamiroquai with Blow My Mind, a Dr. Kucho staple remixing Bamboola Production's Bahia, a rare-gem by little know group; Flanders bringing By My Side, some Gregor Salto and DJ Madskills treatment of the hit Very Nice People track called I'll Make You High. Then we bring in some latin flavor through Knee Deep with a remix of the Dubtribe Sound System's hit; Do It Now, then we go into a nice Dawn Tallman gem called I'm Over It, then we have an amazing Fred Everything remix of a Kings of Tomorrow track; Another Day, with a great Missy Elliott dub of Bring the Pain whereby we close with Random Factor's Without You remixed by the Inland Knights.
