DU8SHOW Designer Set with Latin Flavour - The Gucci Samba Mix!
Hey everyone, the weekend is finally here and I have an amazing set for you guys as I’m bringing the next Designer set of 2009 with the Gucci Samba Mix! This has some ‘booze cruise’ latin house inspired tracks for those who have a small yacht that want to have their party bumping. In diplomatico tradition, this mix is sure to please.
First we have some familiar favourites like a Pablo Martinez remix of Afro Medusa’s Beautiful Think, Cevin Fisher’s remix of Oreja’s Vazilando, an exclusive Ups Extravaganza mix of Bel Amour, Olav Basoski’s Waterman, and even Mojo Project’s Free; one of my personal favourites. Rounding out the set in Gucci style are Ney De Castro’s Ba-tu-ca-da with the Pete Heller treatment, Danny Lewis’ Ballistica, an underground Copyright Tool remixing The Columbian Drum Cartel’s The Shipment, club favourite Cha Cha Heels by Rosabel and a diplomatico exclusive mash-up of Axwell’s Watch the Sunrise with Kenlou!
This is a high-energy mix and therefore it is best enjoyed played really loud with some dancing partners who know how to party. This is how we do in Toronto!

Featured are some big tracks from heavy hitters like Steve Angello remixing Magnolia’s It’s All Vain, the Tocadisco remix of Mylo’s Muscle Car, an amazing Speaker Junk remix of Basement Jaxx’s Take Me Back to Your House, and everyone’s favourite track Worry by Different Gear; always a crowd pleaser. I’ve also put in some great obscure tracks like David West’s progressive-like God’s Garden and a nice remix from the Seamus and Haji team of Paul Harris’ Find Yourself A Friend to start the wild ride and concludes with Gregor Salto’s Erasmus and Martin Solveig and Fedde le Grande’s C’est La Vie to seal the deal.

diplomatico brings Toronto Soul with DU8SHOW Episode 45!
Hey everyone, we apologize for the short hiatus but we’re pleased to bring you Episode 45 of the DU8SHOW called the Toronto Soul Mix. It’s a great vocally soul-inspired set with some familiar favourites and some obscure remixes that you might not have heard before.
First we bring some Beach Soul with a favourite in the chillout circles; Fade by Solu Music and we ease into the hugely popular Lost by Roger Sanchez. We bring in the big tracks with the Max Graham re-work of Owner of a Lonely Heart, with Back to Basics from the Shapeshifters, Madonna’s Hung Up, a Michael Gray club essential Be My Friend by Scape and a lost gem that I found in my collection with Mylo’s amazing Kylie remix of I Believe In You – this was a special edition vinyl with a full color picture of Kylie all over the front. (Us DJs would probably remember that Mylo’s remix on the record was challenging to find in a dark DJ booth, good times)
The Toronto Soul mix is a bit of how we in the T. Dot mix it down with the essentials and would definitely serve to be a staple in any house music collection. Enjoy!
