Hey guys, It’s finally Friday and a special Happy Birthday unfortunate enough to be born today. Okay, let’s be fair here; it’s just a glitch in the matrix and therefore, we should take advantage of the limits of the universe. Nevermind the brain-drain, let’s get down to business. Today I have a bunch of music for you in addition to today’s show. I brought back the Diva series and I made two versions of the mix where I couldn’t decide which one to post. So, I’m going to post the version that was the runner up and save the goods for Sunday or Monday. It’s a Diva Set which has a nice collection of remixed vocal goodness that you’ve come to know from top artists like Tiesto, DJ Gregory, Mylo, Fedde Le Grande, and Pig and Dan. I did a little bit of a switcheroo on the styles so make sure you’re speakers are on full blast by the middle. Next I have the first “Best Of” Set that has some frequently requested mixes via email. Sample Wednesdays: 'Art of House' Concept and Jamiroquai Megamix!
Hey everyone, hope all is doing well in this week so far. Today is going to be a good day for those who have been waiting for the Jamiroquai Megamix as I have an early draft of the set in the flesh posted. Honestly, I’ve been trying time and time again to get a good draft of this set and it has been next to impossible. First, I should say that this was probably one of the most difficult mixes as the majority of Jamiroquai’s songs were prime time songs. I had a similar problem with the Madonna Megamix and often times they’re usually difficult to put together because usually these songs weren’t meant to be played one after another. The way I curbed this problem was to reach deep into the record stash and find all the remixes which thankfully had a great deal of variety. Jamiroquai remix work spans quite a wide spectrum as notable artists such as Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and Tom Belton just to name a couple. Now, this is an early set which isn’t representative of the Megamix that I’ll official post in the near future. Next is the introduction of a new series that I’m going to be working on along with the DU8SHOW and that is called ‘Art of House’. Basically, I’ve been re-listening to all the tracks that I have and I’m starting to compile special mixes which has mostly underground songs and commercial songs with underground work done to them. I wanted to have a nice set of exclusive mixes where I specialized in the various sounds of house throughout its history and at times warp to the future with some new music thrown into the mix. In the end I’ll be moving towards an special collection of a series of mixes that will be very unique. Stay tuned!

Hey guys, I should first say that I’m sorry there weren’t any posts in the past week but I have a bunch of good stuff today. The past week I’ve been taking some time to relax a bit and to put some work into a couple of new projects I have going on. I guess I was putting so much time into it that I never realized that it’s been so long since I posted and the day that came for me to actually put something up was inevitably, Valentine’s Day. It’s supposed to be a good day for the lovers but...for the singles, it’s a mixed bag. I mean, I would love to rant about my love life as I’m single in the city but I have always felt that the best outlet for undesirable memories of previous love interests was music. Music has always been the answer for me and I’ve managed to make it quite useful in the situations which involved matters of the heart as it served me well after break-ups and related incidents in dating. Then again, sometimes the power of music just fuels existing relationships in some way or another, especially if your primary creative outlet is music. Anyways, Episode 8 has an interesting mix of familiar favourites that some of you might know and if you don’t, it’s a nice history lesson. P.S. There’s bit of an unusual delay in the Jamiroquai Megamix which I’m really sorry about and I’ll make sure I’ll have it up as soon as possible. Cheers!

Hey guys, it's time for a megamix which is sure to please more than a few out there. Madonna is a music god that has been a big part of the house scene for many years. Her tracks have been remixed countless times and by some of the biggest names in the biz. I know that Madonna wouldn't approve of this being up but this whole compilation was put together on some of the biggest tracks that we've laid down on a crowd in the clubs, so the people have power.
